    It now has been decided that he has to tear it down. You can’t go to another country and start building whatever you like without having the required permits and following laws and regulations. It might feel like a harsh decision by the court but there is nothing wrong with it.

      Well. There has to be precedence. These wealthy folks are used to bribing their way around to get what they want instead of following due process. And especially if they are wealthy foreigners

    That is an outright sin. No person should do that, it is not even around other homes.
    I would fight it.
    How old is it?
    Why didn’t they do this at the start of construction? Seems the inspectors are at fault there. The person should not have to tear it down because of the error of others. The permit should have approved, tearing down existing structure, and submit plans for new construction. This is unfair.
    Neighbors complain of noise? What, one night? Random times?
    Sounds like there is more to it.
