I feel like most Disney resorts have already done most of those tasks regularly. Not all. But even some five star resorts I have been to for sure do not clean remotes and often just rinse out drinking glasses in the rooms. There’s a docu-special that came out 10 years ago about hotels and housekeeping that discusses their (lack of) cleaning habits.

Commercial cleaning is exhausting and you are expected to clean a lot of areas in a short amount of time. “Non-essential” areas get little cleaning or none at all. Trust me cleaning one of these from top to bottom is like spring cleaning your house, times that by 10-20 suites in 8-12 hour period. Commercial cleaning is the worst job I ever had.

Great Idea Tim! I just went and told my Wife to pack a bag – she loves it and is packing her bag, right now- my Mom is on the way to watch the kids. Were out of here! Thanks Brother…Aloha!

FYI, that thing you were examining on the bunk bed is for the HSK staff so they can make up the top bunk easier. The side comes down so they don’t have to be on a stool to make that bed. As a former Disney Mousekeeper, I learned how to make those beds in housekeeping core class but luckily they don’t have bunk beds at the Grand Floridian so I didn’t have to mess with them. ?
