Johnny Depp’s Estate in France
Actor Johnny Depp Purchased a 37-acre Property Located in the Picturesque Village of Le Plan-de-la-tour in the South of France in 2001 and Lovingly Transformed It Into a Charming Family Compound.
Set Amid the Gently Sloping Grounds of the Glorious French Countryside, the Quirky Compound is Actually a 19th-century Village Which Comprises of More Than a Dozen Buildings Including a Main House, Several Guest Cottages, a Chapel, a Bar & Restaurant, a Workshop, a Staff House, Art Studio and Much More. This Small Provençal Village is Just 25 Km North of Saint Tropez.
Depp Decorated the Interiors of the Estate Himself Spending More Than $10 Million Over the Years on the Renovation. He Turned the Restaurant Into His Dining Room, and Transformed the Chapel Into a Guest House.
Depp Put the Property on the Market in 2015 With an Asking Price of $26 Million. That Includes All of the Furniture and Some of Johnny Depp’s Personal Belongings, Weirdly Enough, the Property Was Re-listed the Next Year With a Hugely Increased Price Reported to Be $63 Million!

“Come visit me in the private French village I own. We can sit at the cafe’, drink wine and not be bothered by anyone. Ever”.
Being an introvert who enjoys being alone, I would rarely leave this place.

God, how I wish I could reach JD and his family….. I would be honored to stay here and run this estate as well as bring in revenue to sustain it…. don’t give up, Johnny. We believe in you!!! I am from east coast USA, living on the CDA for 16 years…. I would be so honored to breathe new life into your and your family’s baby….. Don’t let her go. Please. I will work my butt off to keep this property in your family. The possibilities are endless. Think about it. I am here for you. Always.

Hi Rachel! See my comment at the top as of 2-8-21. You could do like this German couple did. They bought a whole abandoned village in the mountains in southern France. I stayed there in October 1975. Back then they paid $20,000 for the whole village! I think they were even in National Geographic Magazine if I recall correctly. When I hiked around there, very quiet and beautiful, I saw another abandoned village also all made of stone. All they did to their village was clean it up and put roofs, windows and doors on them. You could do like Johnny I think did and draw tourists to your village, that’s if any villages are still abandoned. They are fairly remote. I hiked a long ways up steep grades to get there. It’s all easier said than done, but still I bet you could maybe do similar.
